The following Fort Knox events are available for sponsorships:
Pirate Festival – Join the professional Pirates of the Dark Rose for a day of swashbuckling sword fights, duels, cannon fire and pirate ship attach. The pirate ship “Must Roos” will let loose cannon fire on the Fort as she sails the waters of the Penobscot River in search of booty. This festival features a treasure hunt, pirate parade with attendees encouraged to come in their best pirate attire, and best dressed and most authentic sounding pirate contests.
Paranormal/Psychic Faire– Meet with people who believe in things unusual. This unique event features renowned crytozoologist and author Loren Coleman who is often seen on the History and Travel Channel, psychics, ghost hunters, UFOologists and dowsers.
Shakespeare Comes to the Fort – Ten Bucks Theatre presents Shakespeare in this open air performance.
Scottish Tattoo – This popular event features traditional Scottish bagpipers, precision marching bands and a patriotic salute to America.
Medieval Tournament – The Annual display of Knights in armored combat, medieval music, arts and science displays as well as an archery demonstration.
